Join the Rise of the "Creative Class" in Africa. What can you do? Shettima Kyari Ali, final year student from the department of physics in Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U), Nigeria, constructed a little drone plane which is being controlled with a remote control.


While for centuries, Africa has been seen as the “dark continent,” it is quickly becoming a hotbed of innovation, and smart investors are taking notice. Many challenges remain, but it’s safe to say that the seed of innovation in Africa is being planted by creative africans
 
Shettima Kyari Ali,  final year student from the department of physics in Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U) constructed a little drone plane which is being controlled with a remote control.


He did a public testing of his work and the drone was able to fly high feet as people watched in amazement of it controls.

He dedicated his work to the Chibok girls as he named his creation 'Hope For Chibok Girls'.





Youthful energy and increasingly widespread access to technology are fueling a boom in African inventions and investment.
